Glenn graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He was hired with the Detroit Police Department on December 28, 2000, and has held several positions within the organization in years of service.

He was initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi in the Spring of 2024 and was elected to serve as the Keeper of Exchequer for the Southfield Alumni Chapter and subsequently joined  the Southfield Kappa Foundation Board of Directors.
